ADVENTURES OF POWER is an epic comedy about a mine-worker named Power whose love of drums and lack of musical
skill has turned him into the ridiculed "air drummer" of his small town. But when Power's union-leader father calls a strike at
the mine, Power discovers an underground subculture of air-drummers who just might hold the key to changing the world.
Power's journey across America brings him face-to-face with his town's greatest enemy, and allows him to discover the beat
within his own heart.
Alex Fletcher (Hugh Grant) used to be an A-list pop star. However, his fame slowly but surely began to dwindle and ultimately
fizzled out. Many years later the gifted musician is on top of the world about a chance to redeem his forfeit fame when
newly-made pop diva Cora Corman (Haley Bennett) offers him to write a chart-topping hit and record a duet with her. There's
just one hitch: Alex is really good at composing music but has never written lyrics in his life. He is about to give way to despair

A biographic film. Based on the memoir Touching From A Distance by Deborah Curtis, Control is a cinematographic story
telling us of the Joy Division band and its leader Ian Curtis (Sam Riley). It is also a skillfully and beautifully featured film about
ravaging effects of love, fame and repentance, and the salvation we turn to art for. Formed as a rock band in 1976 in salford,
Greater Manchester, originally named Warsaw, Joy Division quickly went off their initial punk rock influences and created a
sound and style that shaped the tendencies of the post-punk movement of the late 1970s. Control, however, is virtually about
Curtis’s difficult relationships with his wife Deborah (Samantha Morton) and the way his personal pain, epileptic sufferings,
guilt and depression got manifested through Joy Division’s music. Playing all the instruments themselves, the actors must be
given credit.
Louis (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) and Lyla (Keri Russell), two talented musicians, fall in love with each other and Lyla gets
pregnant, but her father can't allow his daughter's career to stop. He hides a newborn and tells Lyla that the baby is dead.
Years passed, and the little Evan (Freddie Highmore), brought up by an adoptive family, learns he was born for music and
travels to New York City with an urge to find his real parents. He hopes they will recognize him through his great talent. Evan
gets to a small theater where Wizard (Robin Williams), his strange boss, gives him a new name, August Rush.
The up-and-down-and-up-again story of musician Dewey Cox (John C. Reilly), whose songs would change a nation. On his
rock'n roll spiral, Cox sleeps with 411 women, marries three times, has 22 kids and 14 stepkids, stars in his own 70s TV
show, collects friends ranging from Elvis to the Beatles to a chimp, and gets addicted to (and then kicks) every drug known to
man, but despite it all, Cox grows into a national icon and eventually earns the love of a good woman.
Six incarnations of Bob Dylan: an actor, a folk singer, an electrified troubadour, Rimbaud, Billy the Kid, and Woody Guthrie. Put
Dylan's music behind their adventures, soliloquies, interviews, marriage, and infidelity. Recreate 1960s documentaries in
black and white. Put each at a crossroads, the artist becoming someone else. Jack, the son of Ramblin' Jack Elliott, finds
Jesus; handsome Robbie falls in love then abandons Claire. Woody, a lad escaped from foster care, hobos the U.S. singing;
Billy awakes in a valley threatened by a six-lane highway; Rimbaud talks. Jude, booed at Newport when he goes electric,
fences with reporters, pundits, and fans. He won't be classified.
1950. Rural Alabama. Cotton harvest. It's a make-or-break weekend for the Honeydripper Lounge and its owner, piano
player Tyrone "Pine Top" Purvis. Deep in debt to the liquor man, the chicken man, and the landlord, Tyrone is desperate to
lure the young cotton pickers and local Army base recruits into his juke joint, away from Touissant's, the rival joint across the
way. After laying off his regular talent, blues singer Bertha Mae, Tyrone announces to his sidekick Maceo that he has hired
the famous electric guitar player, Guitar Sam, for a special one night only gig: pack em in and save the club. On the day of the
show, the train arrives and Guitar Sam is no where to be found. Tyrone is forced to take drastic action. He makes a deal with
Sheriff Pugh to release Sonny, the kid who hopped off a freight car here in Harmony, and turned up in the club claiming he
could play the guitar as well as any Guitar Sam.

Based on a true story, the movie tells of the struggle of a dance teacher, Pierre Dulain (Antonio Banderas), to give to a group
of problem kids a second chance by exploring their dance skills. One night Dulain is astonished to see a boy, Rock (Rob
Brown) destroying his school director's car. The following day Dulaine goes to the school to ask for a job as a dance teacher.
The director has little confidence in Dulaine's idea of helping kids (including Rock) in detention to reform through ballroom
dance classes. Even the kids, who prefer hip-hop or rap, think it isn't a great idea. Despite criticism from students in his
formal dance academy as well as from parents and fellow teachers who believe that the kids need more math and less
dance, Dulain catches the students' attention with a tango session. After their initial indifference, they eventually compete in a
dance contest; the important thing isn't winning, but making a difference.
